Calling All Semi-Reverse Splitters
Requirements (which may be modified following more expert input):
An LSAT between 165 and 169.
An LSAC UGPA above 3.80 (lowered from 3.85 by popular demand).
As for myself...
LSAT: 166
GPA: 3.94
Acceptances so Far: Penn State, W&M
Dream Schools: Penn, Boalt, Cornell
Targets: WUSTL, GW, BU, BC, Emory
Safeties: Too many to count (I applied to most schools on my list before getting my LSAT score back [see my LSN page for details]... needless to say, I performed much better than I expected.
I'm currently EDing at Penn, but if that doesn't work out, I may see if UVA shows me any love.

Re: Calling All Semi-Reverse Splitters
Good to know there are a few of us!
LSAT: 167
GPA: 3.89
Acceptances so Far: Michigan
Dream Schools: Penn, Boalt, Stanford
Target: Lewis & Clark
Note that I originally got into this game thinking I would attend L&C, and didn't really think about options beyond that. Then I got a few fee waivers. Then I visited a few more schools. Then I got into Michigan. I have zero complaints.

Wow, aiming for L&C and getting into Michigan? Congrats; that is pretty sweet.dj666 wrote:Good to know there are a few of us!

i feel like i've found a home. thanks for starting this!
I'm 165, 3.94. So far, no acceptances yet, but no rejections either.
But I didn't submit until the first week of november.

Re: Calling All Semi-Reverse Splitters
This thread is awesome... I feel so left out of the 'true' reverse-splitter threads.
LSAT: 169
GPA: 4.0
Acceptances so far: Michigan, UVA, Georgetown, Texas ($$), William and Mary ($$), and Berkeley.
Dream School: Harvard... highly unlikely.
Waiting on: Stanford, Penn, Duke, Harvard, Columbia, Chicago
What do you think are my chances for money from Michigan, UVA, Georgetown, or Berkeley? (I am a VA resident)

Re: Calling All Semi-Reverse Splitters
Thanks. It was quite unexpected, happened very early in the cycle, and has been an equally good source of both confidence and confusion. Again -- I have zero complaints.Adjudicator wrote: Wow, aiming for L&C and getting into Michigan? Congrats; that is pretty sweet.

No love for 170?
This should be the "retake" thread.

Re: Calling All Semi-Reverse Splitters
I'm in the LSAT range, but does 3.84 count? In two weeks after the semesters over I should be in the GPA range
Acceptances: Florida, W&L
Waitlisted: UVa
Rejected: Texas
Waiting on: Many schools

Re: Calling All Semi-Reverse Splitters
Yeah, I know I should retake- especially because all of my practice tests were around 174-5. But I just can't get myself to do it, the LSAT sucks.r6_philly wrote:No love for 170?

LOL. I love you, R6, but I'm sure you're aware that 170 is the median at many of the lower T14s, making it an appropriate cut-off point, in my opinion.r6_philly wrote:No love for 170?

I'll begrudgingly accept your 3.84.iwanta170 wrote:I'm in the LSAT range, but does 3.84 count?

I know. I am only barely a reverse splitter at HY. So grant me part-time status.HeavenWood wrote:
