My application complete email from UO said that they wouldn't start reviewing until February...Orko wrote:Is anybody starting to hear anything yet? Following the timeline of years past, people should start hearing end of this week/ beginning of next.
I have a feeling UO will beat Lewis & Clark to a decision, even though I've been complete at L&C for over 16 weeks and they've been handing out decisions for 5 weeks. Rolling admissions there is a joke.

Just got an email from University of Oregon inviting me to apply and giving me an application fee waiver... I applied in September, but without a fee waiver. Anyone think they'll refund app fee?

I just called and the admissions person said to reply to the email and they'll decide what to do (so she successfully skirted my question, but I responded and hope to get a refund). I included my UO id #.

Yeah...Got their apology email, too. It seems that they understand they blew it, but still lame. Just admit me or reject me already...longhornlaw wrote:Just got the same email...not a good sign that they aren't checking who has already applied...Orko wrote:Just got an email from University of Oregon inviting me to apply and giving me an application fee waiver... Hell, I got a fee waiver by asking for one to American. I don't think they were being very stingy about it.solarae wrote:I got a free waiver by asking a few weeks ago.

Looks like they have readied the admitted students portion of their website http://lawadmissions.uoregon.edu/admitted/ - hopefully the acceptances will start rolling out very soon.

I sent my app in months ago and have heard nothing. I am not sure who is worse, Oregon, Pitt, or Richmond.

According to their website, decisions start in February through 31 May. I too sent my app in very early, but this just seems to be U of O's M.O. Hang in there and try and distract yourselves. Nothing we can do to make the process faster unfortunately.

A lot of schools said that in their emails, but it seems like Oregon is the one school that actually lives by it.

Re: University of Oregon 2011
I haven't received anything from them via mail or email, however I'm a previous UofO undergrad and now when I access my duckweb account it's got all the information for law students, registration, etc.(in other words, all the stuff I previously saw for undergrad classes as far as registration and such, now the info for law students is there as well, and it never was before) I'm thinking this is a positive, lol, but have no idea. I think it's sort of odd, too, because if they have admitted people, why aren't they saying anything? Curious...

Oregon doesn't give out a lot of money because they believe their tuition is undervalued. 10K is the most i've seen, aside from full rides for fellowships. they expect you to apply for a lot of private scholarships and outside money.

How do later appications usually get looked at? Do they do it in waves or as they come in?
I applied two weeks ago after getting denied at Lewis and Clark.
