I got accepted in December with $$$, and am very excited at the possibility of going there. If I get into CU this month, I will have a really hard decision to make (if I decide a definite on the state of Colorado)!

Are a lot of you trying to decide between the two schools? Is there a VERY big advantage to actually being located in Denver?
I don't know for sure, but it sounds like there's a bigger advantage to being a CU graduate than a DU graduate. Being located in Denver for school isn't a big deal, since Boulder is a pretty quick drive from Denver.

I submitted 12/15. Application has been sitting as complete since then.
Ditto, give or take a few days.
I submitted on 11/9 and it has been complete/ready for review since 11/23. I have a low LSAT though so I probably won't get reviewed until later in the season.

Nope. Judging from others' experience, I'll get that either in a separate email or snail mail.

Anyone else find it odd that you have to send them an official transcript from your UG/schools? lol.

YAY! Me too!!!! :D

Iowa asks for an official transcript too. I think it's *more* for the students that are still completing their undergrad, to confirm that they did, in fact, finish their UG degree... But they just make everyone do it.

PS - Congrats everyone! Now if I only had a letter from CU when I got home too...

How much will Friday night snowboarding then drinking be a part of your lives assuming you go to DU and have time?

I assume quite a bit for myself.

I live 10 min from DU. I like to snowboard every weekend and I like to drink every weekend.

So, if I'm there count me in!

What's weird in thinking about law school is that I might actually be able to do stuff like snowboard on a weekday. Can't do that when you're at work all day, every day!

Congrats to all who got acceptances! Anyone going there for sure? Or is everybody still waiting on other offers?

+1(million)

Also, I'd like to join the State of Colorado Law Students Drinking/Snowsporting Club as well. Can anyone come up with a good name/acronym?

All the cool DU 1ls next year should pony up and get a penthouse at a resort on Fri night. Snowboard/ski, drink, party, and avoid the worst of decisions.

Definitely a viable option, I don't necessarily want to leave CO and with that $$$ we'll have to see what happens with CU.

Depends on if/what DU offers for $$, as well as what happens with CU and U Minnesota. Secondly, depends on where my gf gets into her grad program. If anyone has connections in the CSU Therapy programs, hook us up so I can finally be a Colorado transplant like I've wanted to be since the age of 12.

Totally depends on $$$. I'm applying for the Chancellor's Scholly, but I have also applied for similar programs at other schools. I love Colorado, but am open to moving.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
