Re: U. of Pacific 2011 Applicants
Pacific emails me every day - I feel like I should apply and see if they give me a lot of money - what are the top reasons you guys applied to it? I've done some research, but am curious about how others view it because I don't know much about it.

I was rejected last week with a 159/3.33. I still feel compelled to lurk on this forum, however.DamnLSAT wrote:Anyone else accepted today?? Trying to get a feel if it is acceptance with scholly, acceptance or denial based on everyone else's numbers.

I'm 160/3.0 from a Top 15 business school. 5 years WE, started my own business, and an excellent PS (granted that's my own opinion, but I'm very confident in it having read about a hundred others).stargazer3620 wrote:That was fast! Re: U. of Pacific 2011 Applicants
158/3.7 In with 15k/yr dependent on top 1/3 of class.
Heard last week, pretty excited. I've been checking out the website and they're supposed to be completing their new law studies center/library by Fall semester. Besides this new building (which looks very impressive, state-of-the-art, etc..), has anyone actually visited and seen the rest of their campus? I've heard a lot of mixed reviews regarding the schools location in the Oak Park neighborhood of Sacramento as well.
Can anyone comment?

If it matters, I'm going to withdraw my acceptance from U. of Pacific today or monday.
Hopefully that full tuition scholarship can go to someone else! Good luck!

Received 12/10...complete 12/10...nothing since. Pacific is a bit of a reach for me since I botched my LSAT, but hopefully this at least means I wasn't an autoding.

Re: U. of Pacific 2011 Applicants
If you're anything like me, it was a regular number 10 envelope with the Pacific logo on it. It contained a single sheet of paper that very politely said "Even though we've admitted and offered scholarships to people who have lower numbers than you, we're not interested in having you attend. Please f*** right off." Or something to that effect.Siamsa414 wrote:"Decision rendered" on status checker....what kind of envelope am I looking for?
No bitterness here...

Hah, I can't wait to get that envelope (since your numbers are substantially better than mine), so I can write them a kind letter thanking them for the 3,000 emails eagerly asking for my application and offering priority review and fee waivers galore.DocHawkeye wrote:If you're anything like me, it was a regular number 10 envelope with the Pacific logo on it.
