To anyone who got the 'complimentary' airfare to visit for an admit day; do you know if that's only valid IF you accept, or can you use it to visit even if you haven't accepted yet?

Got admission today!

15K scholarship, plus Honors With Entrance (aka free books?)

First acceptance, so I'm so relieved. By the way, my app was complete on Jan 14.

Now, don't take this the wrong way, but...URGHHHHH! WHY are people that applied and went complete in January hearing back before people who went complete in the first week of NOVEMBER?! I am getting so frustrated by this!

To answer your question, I don't think they have any steps in the middle...but I'm not 100% about that!

It was actually a funny relief from the irritating status date update earlier.

I think you would be an auto-admit, swilson.

McGeorge is #3/#4 on my list, so it isn't a big deal for me.

Have you been up to Sacramento?

I don't live too far from Sacramento (in the grand scheme of things - about a 4 hour drive), and I have family in Sac. I like it! McGeorge is a regional school for sure, but it's in the right region for me. I'm planning a trip up specifically to visit the school sometime in the next month.

I hear you! I went complete at the end of September and have heard nothing... They are slowly losing my interest.

Wow dude, I'm really sorry you haven't heard from them yet

I'd be pretty pissed off too.

Hmm... I got a 160, 3.2 GPA, I dunno if my numbers would give any insight. I was pretty surprised that they responded so quickly too.

Got the e-mail too and I went complete at the end of January, so I think it means nothing. Probably went out to everyone.

I didn't get it but, desbite having superior numbers to many who have been admitted I was rejected in December (and harbor no continued bitterness). Probably the only person ever rejected by Pacific...

Complete since the beginning of November. I got so excited when I saw that email. Ugh.

Quite a few rejections on lsn yesterday. Looks to me like they skipped the middle of.the road applicants and put us on an unofficial waitlist.

If you are really "pleased that have applied", then you could show it by reviewing my file; not sending me an email about financial aid while keeping my app at complete for over a month. If this is what priority review means, I shutter to think what regular review means to you.
