I know it's completely unreasonable, but when I sent in my application a month ago, I thought I'd be hearing back in 2 or 3 weeks. That extra week stings the heart.

I really didn't expect to hear anything today so I'm not particularly dissappointed. I'm staying positive so if you need a good pep talk let me know!!

If I'm feeling generous, then tomorrow I'll make a google doc with acceptances/Grade requests. I keep wanting to know the numbers of them and have no idea.

I hope you adcomms arent watching cause this one will give me away haha but mine refers to my younger siblings as "beastly monsters of only two". I'm hoping they've got a sense of humor and can sympathize with being surrounded by the screams of two year olds haha.

No I don't, what I mentioned was the student holiday but you are right, their holidays are definitely different. I'd have to guess they begin on the same days (December 23rd) but I'm not sure. I'm tempted to call tomorrow and ask, I just might if I work up the courage.

First, a couple things should be cleared up:

1.) I am done with exams and have returned to the realization I have no life.
2.) I love you TLS'ers
3.) Trying to compile ED information from past threads this cycle was annoying. This will hopefully make it easier for current and future ED'ers to gain insight into their ED prospects.
4.) It didn't occur to me until after I compiled the list to take averages. However, after doing so we gain a little more insight into the methodology for Columbia's ED acceptances.
5.) IF YOU DO NOT SEE YOURSELF REPRESENTED IN THE DATASET PLEASE PM ME!!!! It will help to maintain the integrity of the data. (And for the love of god don't throw your sampling error fallacies at me. Eat me, the LSAT is over.) I pulled some off of LSN, so numbers may be fudged. I tried not to double post but with the fudged numbers it's difficult to differentiate them. Waiting on a couple more PM's to fill in some applicants.

Pay attention to the Green Boxes. Even in ED it looks like they're playing a balancing act with their medians.

IF YOU ARE ED AND RECEIVED A FALL GRADES REQUEST PLEASE PM ME WITH INFO!! I want to see what effects they'll have. Or if you are ED and receive a request in the upcoming weeks. Thank you in advance.

Yeah, I'm going to do the same. If no one mentions getting snail mail by then and I haven't heard anything, I'm going to call as well. I'm getting married in June and have to be in a New York law school if I'm going to start next year (fiancee is doing her MBA at Fordham), so I need to know whether I need to apply to NYU.
