When I spoke to Admissions on the 29th...they said this week we should start seeing some notifications. But this snow storm may have slowed things down by a few days.

Decision made on 2/4/2011, but no email confirming an acceptance. I went complete on 1/21/2011, which makes this the quickest turn around from any school in my cycle. Should I expect a wl, deny, or reject? Also, my numbers are 153/3.45 and im applying part-time.

My decision was made fairly quick, about 10 days or so after I went complete. Check to see if you're assigned a slu.edu email address here in the next couple days on the status check page. If accepted you will also recieve an email with a copy of the acceptance letter.

Yeah, it would be nice to hear about scholly money this week. Here's to hoping that happens!

Those of you who got in...

When did your secondary email address change to a slu address? Was it when your status changed to decision made or when you got your acceptance email?

I believe it changed the day after my decision had been rendered on my status checker, and then I received the acceptance e-mail.

My file went under review on 1/12...then the date changed to 2/7. So frustrating!!

Just talked to them this morning and they said they just finished making their first round of scholarship decisions. They said they will be sending those in the mail today and tomorrow. Also, they said some recipients will receive scholarship info via e-mail. I probably shouldn't have called because it's going to drive me crazy all week. Good luck everyone!

I hear you....been over 3 months and I get updated every couple weeks, but that is because I call. 155/3.3. Applied to both...is this limbo supposed to be an informal waitlist for my numbers?

I really thought that I would have heard something by now. Especially after seeing others in this forum get a decision the day after their status date changed while their under review status did not change. I called when I first applied to inquire about the length of time it takes to get a decision and I was told usually four weeks, sometimes much faster, but to give it at least six weeks. Today is exactly four weeks after my file went complete. 159/3.3

I just called admissions and asked them why my date changed but not my status. She told me that there are "several processes of admission." Nice.

I also asked how long it normally takes to receive a decision. This time, I was told four to eight weeks. Even better. WTF

Just got the acceptance e-mail with a Dean's Scholars Scholarship. Will post again once I figure out how much.

3.47/163 although after a horrid first semester I managed a 3.63 after that. SLU's health law program is pretty high and my PS was geared extensively towards my practicing health law upon graduation as I have already undertaken quite a few initiatives in the medical field. Not sure if that factored into the scholarship or it was based purely on numbers.

Do scholly offers at SLU generally have stips or just require one to remain in good academic standing?

I got a call this evening from one of the Deans and got to talk about my interests. I must say, it was a nice touch!

Dean's Scholly via email today for roughly half tuition. No stips other than good standing is nice though.

My status date changed again without my status changing. The date changed from 2/7 to 2/16. Anyone else's change again?
