In!! In a moment of blind happiness, I may have yelled "best X-mas present EVER!!" at JR. Thankfully they can't rescind...

The hard part is gonna be keeping this from my parents until X-mas.

I'm also in the Christmas-present-to-tell-parents camp, but I just got the news today. Waiting from the 6th without telling parents must have been very difficult. How do you guys feel about this plan? I'm going forward with it but at times I feel guilty, as though it will end up making Christmas all about me.

I think they'll be happy no matter when you tell them. I definitely don't think they'll mind even if you wait until christmas (siblings might depending on the kind of relationship you have with them). I heard back just today, and since christmas is only a few days away and I actually want to tell them in person, I'm waiting.

I had the fortunate/unfortunate complicating factor of my sisters wedding. So I didnt want to steal her thunder... I therefor dont feel too bad stealing Christ's thunder this year ;)

Hey guys, question for anyone who might know:

Had my JR2 on Monday, and JR said that I'd be receiving some packets in the mail shortly. Anyone know when that might be/an official acceptance letter comes?

Haven't gotten anything yet but my status checker says it was sent on Monday

I am hoping that mine does NOT arrive tomorrow, because that would spoil the Christmas gift plan.
