Got accepted today. Sent in app around 1/7, anyone know if and how much of a scholarship can be expected with 158/3.95?

I received a packet today with $35,000 a year. I didn't realize it costs $45,000 a year to go to this place....pretty steep. What are the job prospects like for Seton Hall and does anyone know much about the surrounding area?

prospects really depend on how much effort you are going to be willing to put in to network. Seton Hall does have a lot of alumni that are working in surrounding areas which may make it a bit easier to find employment

and what do you want to know about the surrounding area?? it is right next to new york, you could hop on the subway or washington bridge and be in the city 25 minutes. boardwalk is within reasonable driving distance if you are interested in getting out and going to the beach or partying

I'm completely shocked! I applied to the part time program with 158/3.95 and got accepted but with no scholarship money! Does the money come after the acceptance letter?

I just withdrew my application so maybe that will help you!! I have similar stats (159 3.65 (Gpa not nearly as good) ) and they offered me 25k per year with top half class stipulation for years 2 and 3. I received mine in the original application so im not sure with you.........maybe part time has something to do with it??

I applied through LEO but haven`t heard anything yet, went complete 1/27. I also applied to Rutgers for PT, but i`m not sure which i`d choose if accepted to both. I like how helpful the LEO PT at SH sounds though. At the same time, Rutgers has the Minority Student Program that I applied to as well, so I don`t know which is the better option.

In with the presidential scholarship.

Anyone have any info as to how I should expect notification? I've heard e-mails/no e-mails, status checker, snailmail.. what's the consensus?
