Top Law Schools

I also recieved the invitation to Southwestern's Annual Diversity Day. Do they send this out to all applicants? According to my status checker, I am still "Complete and In Review".

They will accept only those who will attend the Diversity Day, LOL

My current status says CAS report has been received and then on top it says for first year applicants: your CAS report has arrived and your file is now ready for review. Your file is currently being reviewed. This process may take 8-12 weeks.

Is this what everyone elses status says or does your status actually say in review?

Mine says "Complete and in review".

So I'm a little confused, I don't get if we're under review. I submitted my app 3 weeks ago ( I know it hasn't been long), and was at Pending future lsat for 2 weeks. However, at other schools that I sent after I've been in review for abt a week now and even got an acceptance last night.

Maybe you should call them? I applied on the 7th and went complete and in review on the 13th. I too took the Dec. Lsat.

Once you go into review, it'll change into "File is complete and in review "

I went complete on 12/01/2010, and since then it says that my file is complete and is under review, and that it will take 8-12 weeks bla-bla-bla. I really hope I will get accepted this time - they accepted me 3 years ago into the SCALE program, I just couldn't go to school at that time.

Did anyone else get the blank mail sent? I got one yesterday and considering everyone mentioned congratulatory emails upon acceptance (which I haven't received), I'm going to assume I'm dinged or waitlisted.

No, I received the blank e-mail on my status check too and I'm not in review as of yet, at least I don't think. I received the annual diversity day email though yest, which you prob received too.

I'm still confused bc my status says CAS report has been received and then on top it says my file is complete and being reviewed. I just called admissions abt something else and the guy told me I'll know when my file is in review.

That's good to know. I've been put in and out of review three times now, so I was just happy the whole thing was finished finally

Edit: Actually I do see the blank email for the 20th. I'm assuming its just the diversity day email.

When you say blank email do you mean you actually got an email that was blank, or under mailings it says something was sent out the 20th and the description is blank next to it? cause thats what is on mine/i got the diversity email as well. Although a couple weeks ago I got the email for the SCALE event and im pretty sure for a few days that also posted under my mailings with a date but blank next to it, with no description but it was removed a couple days after that

Edit: yea I think its for sure the diversity email, although I have been in review since december 13th, and the status date changed to the 1/19/2011 so whoo knos whats going on

I like the location, their program, the fact that it's a smaller school, and overall it just seems like it will be a good fit for me. And I'm hoping for some good money

Ughh i hope thats not a rejection letter haha that would be a little mean considering we just got our diversity day invitations. Maybe its our confirmation since i did rsvp to the event
