And if I do get in with PT would it be better if I went to SW as a PT or Whittier/Thomas Jeffferson/Western State as a FT?
I think all schools at this level are all the same personally. Only do SW if you can't imagine working anywhere else but LA. I'm sure you can transfer into FT after a semester or two if you have good enough grades. What I don't understand is why they would call you in for a SCALE "interview" and just straight out tell you you're not qualified and suggest pursuing a different route. Not sure what they're trying to accomplish there, but at least they are concerned enough to want to address that to you personally.
In other news, doesn't seem to look good for those holding out for a scholly. Inside source implied that all funds were dried up. I think it is true they do not give out schollys in an amount less than half tuition. So unless you are qualified for at least half tuition, you may be out of luck. Their scholarship standards are ultra strict and it is to my understanding they only offer them to those that they think will 99% matriculate and have a demonstrated commitment to the greater LA area. LSN is really not representative of what is actually going on right now cause even though they are "slow" it seems they are almost done with the cycle. At ASD, they seemed pretty adamant about meeting the deposit deadline and implied no extension, so it must be somewhat true.
