Letters will include scholarships and should go out this week or early next week according to Dean Shively.

Yup! Last year my scholarship came with my letter.Spinozist21 wrote:Letters will include scholarships and should go out this week or early next week according to Dean Shively.
I was going to apply anyway, and when I got to the certification screen on LSAC, there was a very nice waiver notice waiting for me!NJcollegestudent wrote:Was anyone else surprised when they received a fee wavier from Penn State? I was not expecting one, and though it was quite nice of them.
+1, even complete at 11/18 too! haha wonder how long it'll take.rockyIV wrote:fiiinally went under review after sitting at complete since 11/18

Okay, I'm just the other way around. I hope the fee waiver is a good sign for you; I got one from them, but I only found out about it when I went to apply!jaydizzle wrote:Well, my GPA is very high, but my LSAT is very bad. I got a fee waiver telling me that I am a competitive applicant, but I just do not know how true it is. I am way above the 75th for GPA, but under the 25th for the LSAT.
+1. I think they just want to keep our attention while they shuffle their feet getting scholly info out so we don't decide to go somewhere else...jayman6 wrote:Got an email today exlaining my estimated cost of attendance. Seemed like a fairly pointless email.
I've been under review since 11/16. Grab a box of snickers cuz its probably going to take a while.jaydizzle wrote:11/17 here. Finally under review as well. This is a reach for more probably.
Got the same one this morning. COA info means nothing without scholly info!caligulove wrote:+1. Although to be fair, 2 months really isnt that bad. They do say that it can take up to 12 weeks to make a decision, so forget about watching your status checkers for a while.

I only applied last week, and don't know how long it will take to hear. I'm guessing March. My numbers are 2.9/165. Unless having learning disabilities constitutes a URM, I am un-diverse, but hoping the LSAT score along with having lived in China will get me acceptances, and really hoping for scholarships, too.
believe me I'm wondering about that as well, I literally applied on the first day applications became available, wrote a (good) why PSU essay, have #'s above both 75 percentiles and still haven't heard anything.DocHawkeye wrote:I would just like an admission decision. What about Penn State do you like so much? Just curious.Chouchous wrote:I've already been accepted into a number of higher ranked schools, but I really like Penn State and would love to go there.
