Who knows I guess. Another big snow storm just hit. I think we will all be hearing later than usual due to all these snow storms. I live in the area, and it appears to be slowing everything down.

Yup. School closed early last night and delayed opening until noon today. I imagine the admissions office is just as disrupted as everyone else. I didn't hear back until early to mid February when I applied. Good luck and keep in mind that there's no rhyme or reason to the order the decisions are sent out.jaydizzle wrote:bballfreak56 wrote:Any predictions on when the next wave of decisions will be sent out? You and me both! I have some similar stats to you. I haven't even gone under review yet which worries me as most have already.lic06003 wrote:aghh.. ive been under review since forever. I'm not in review yet either with LSAT above 75th and GPA slightly below 25th, in-state.
Keep in mind tho that CT's gotten almost 5 ft of snow this Jan.. everything is a little slower this month

Yeah it sucks. Every time the wind comes out, it is a whole new experience trying to plow/shovel. After yesterday's storm, I haver 5 feet to plow. The snow blower got stuck.

I moved to an apt with indoor parking this year. Greatest year to do this EVER. No more shovelling and clearing my car!!jaydizzle wrote:snapdragon wrote:I'm not in review yet either with LSAT above 75th and GPA slightly below 25th, in-state.

Re: UConn Applicants 2011
at least you had a snow blower.. I had Uconn plowing snow to clear the streets and it all went... on top of my car. I had to dig my car out with my bare hands.. and gave up half an hour later. Hopefully some of it melted so it'll be easier to get out. Sorry about my last post I made a mistake, Im not even under review yet either, the last time they updated it was 11/30. almost two months agojaydizzle wrote:snapdragon wrote:I'm not in review yet either with LSAT above 75th and GPA slightly below 25th, in-state.

I see that you got accepted to many similar schools that I also got accepted to. Is Uconn your top choice?jaydizzle wrote:lic06003 wrote:at least you had a snow blower.. Sorry dude It was only a week and a bit later, if that makes you feel any better.jaydizzle wrote:no fair. you went complete later. i guess a decision today isn't happening then. i hope we don't have to wait that much longer. i have a lot riding on this decision. my anxiety is getting the best of me right now, and i need to know my fate soon.snapdragon wrote:Yay! I think we should expect to wait a weekish before any decisions, at least. Good luck tho - are you day/evening/either? I selected day only.

For those that have already been accepted, how long did it take from when your status said "in review" to when you received your decision?

Went under review last Friday 1/28 after going complete 12/6.
It usually take a couple of weeks from this point on, it seems, from the other posts?
Good luck everyone!

Re: UConn Applicants 2011
How are people complete in December lumped in with me even though I went complete in November? I hope I won't be waiting much longer. UConn should have started reading apps before January. From the the past years I should have gotten a decision by now or at the latest around the first couple days of February. The snow most likely pushed everything back.

Tomorrow will be another snow day too. I hope it won't be another 4-6 weeks after we went under review. Every other year I would have gotten a decision by the end of January or the first few days of February.

Re: UConn Applicants 2011
Sorry if I'm annoying anyone by popping in here with weather reports, but school was not actually closed today. Classes after 3:30 were dismissed, but the campus was definitely open all morning. I heard that they are trying to resist any more closings. Also, the weather closings and delays of the main campus in storrs are not indicative of law school closings. Don't lose faith- I'm sure the admissions office is working hard to get decisions mailed soon.
