Congratulations from a current Stetson 2L (just wrapped up fall finals) to those who have been accepted and good luck to those still waiting.

just got a full ride from a higher ranked school, so now it would probably take a full ride at stetson to do the trick. Hahah is it weird that I'm actually kinda bummed becuase I really wanted to go to Stetson?

What is the higher ranked school and where do you want to work?

Oh hey Barbie, nice to chat with you again. The other school is the University of Denver, and I am debt averse and want to work in different places in the county in my life.

Both Tampa or Denver would be good places to start, though.

Full ride to Denver? Thats awesome congrats man. Maybe I should have applied there, we have same GPA but -1 LSAT for me... I looked at Denver for grad/MA last year.

Yeah there public policy/polysci/international relations programs are higher ranked than their law program. Was thinking about adding a year and doing a MA in international relations while I'm up there.

My girlfriend would much rather live and work in Florida though, so I'm hoping Stetson comes through with a big offer.

did you manage to get a fee waiver from DU? I'm thinking about emailing and asking for one.

I've heard second hand that Denver stopped giving out fee waivers as of today for this application cycle.

I know students that were promised fee waivers from DU if they just contacted the admissions reps when they were back in the office & were refused today. Denver did, however, acknowledge that they had made the offers at the LSAC forum.

In at Stetson via email on Thursday, applied week of Thanksgiving. Despite the hate on TLS for Stetson and Miami, I am thrilled to have been accepted at both and as soon as I can will be heading up I-75 to check out Stetson.

i've already been accepted with a 158 and 3.4 and I emailed someone asking about scholarships and the lady basically told me that I would not be receiving any type of scholarship because my numbers were too low

just wanted to let those of you know who were still looking for a possibly scholly there with similar numbers..doesn't look like we're getting anything :x
