Well, Stetson didn't work out, but I got into Barry, so at least I'm going somewhere (whew!). There's always the transfer option.

Nope. Still submitted for review. I'm getting kind of nervous.

Also, I'm going for a tour next Wednesday. I honestly didn't consider applying to Stetson until mid-March, but the campus/area is beautiful and I AM from the bay area... maybe I'll stay?

I'm a North Dakota transplant (I've been in Florida for 11 years). Currently living on the St. Pete side of the bay.

Does anyone know how they're treating splitters this year? I'm getting nervous because there hasn't been any action this week.

I'm sorry I can't answer your splitters question.

But, I agree about nothing going on this week. They said 2-3 weeks for a decision, but I know someone on here heard after a week.

I'll be at 2 weeks on Monday.

Depends on what you mean by splitter. If the #'s in your profile are accurate I would gamble that you will be accepted.

Yes my profile is accurate. Hopefully I get a decision soon, I don't think my status could be checked any more often than it is now lol

I even check late at night, although I know the odds are highly unlikely that'll it change at 11pm central.

I'm at two weeks as of yesterday. I've seen people get immediate results but even immediate doesn't guarantee acceptance.

I would be embarrassed if they could see how many times I've clicked on the checker!

@papalew: Stetson is likely to admit you due to your 163 LSAT score. Expect merit money.

Maybe if they could see how many times we've checked, they'd know how much we want to go there....

@papalew with a 163 you're certainly getting accepted -- what is your application timeline?

@lawbound11 -- Seriously! I do appreciate that you let me whine to you in pm's!

I wouldn't count on merit money. I have 3.4/164 and applied in November and didn't get any money even though they kept telling me I would probably get something. In March I asked when I would hear and I was told I would not be getting anything. FYI. :)

I didn't plan on it. Just getting in would be enough right now.

Because with a 3.4 GPA & 164 LSAT the assumption was that you would not be matriculating at Stetson. You are an automatic admit at Florida & FSU, for example.
