not here. i've been at complete since 11/15

I was in the first batch of status checkers last month but its been "complete and ready for review" since then. Hoping that the next status is "decision mailed" and that the skip "under review". Would love to start my cycle with a nod from Loyola... would be a huge sigh of relief while I wait for more ambitious applications to be decided.

I am an ED applicant and am still "complete-ready for review." My guess is that they do not update the status checker once they start to review your applicantion, as I am pretty sure they have already starting looking at the ED files, but have not changed the checkers.

Decision made today via status checker. Being a part of the first wave of decisions and as an ED applicant this is either cause I was an auto admit or an auto ding...

*EDIT* dinged today via mail. Oh well, it was a long shot anyways. I guess this proves there is no real "ED bump" at loyola. Good luck to all.

Sorry about your ding <3. However, without knowing your numbers it doesn't really prove anything...

If your numbers were a little below and you still didn't get in then maybe it proves it. If your numbers were way below their medians then it doesn't really prove anything because ED bumps are not usually that huge.

If your numbers were a little below and you still didn't get in then maybe it proves it. If your numbers were way below their medians then it doesn't really prove anything because ED bumps are not usually that huge.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. LLS medians are 161/3.56 (i believe) so I think the ED boost would help an applicant with a >/=159 and >/=3.4x, but anything too far below that makes being an ED applicant a non-factor. This is purely speculation though. I, too, am sorry to hear about the rejection.

I would guess so since the ED people are supposed to hear by the start of the new year.

I am guessing all of us ED people will hear back from LLS by the end of this week. I am pretty sure they start break this weekend and don't resume until January, and we are supposed to have heard back before then.

I am kind of frustrated reading over the thread from last years class where RD's were being handed out by now and we haven't heard ANYTHING, ed or rd. Blah.

Well someone received their rejection letter yesterday, so I guess some people are hearing something (just not me and thats all I really care about , jk!). I just reallllly hope I will hear by Thursday, because I am going home for break and wont be back until January. Lord knows I wont be able to sit at home knowing that their decision is sitting in my mailbox at school. Ha.

so frustrating! I think by this point last year, all EDs had heard and a good chunk of RD had heard (with money too!)

Maybe the delay is due to them reviewing every file even more thoroughly than previous cycles?....hope so!

I just called the law school and they said they are still working through ED applicants and should be getting those out soon. For regular decisions, the guy I talked to said probably nothing until the new year. BOOOO.

It was never IR...the "decision has been made" letter was the first time the checker changed since I had gone complete.
