Submitted 10/20, and it's the only school I haven't heard a word from...

Might want to change the title of this post so people know which one you're talking about.

I submitted my app Oct. 15 and have heard nothing. I submitted an updated personal statement because I had found a mistake and got an e-mail the next day saying they had received it and updated my file...so I know they have my app ha. I called the school two weeks ago and they said they would be sending out confirmation mail soon. I don't know what "soon" is though.

Sent in my app on 10/5 and just like everyone else, haven't heard anything.

I called the school a few days ago to see if I should have received something by now. The lady on the phone says they won't even start looking at applications for at least a few more weeks!

Just curious, what is Loyola ranked on everyones lists/where else are you applying to?

Thanks for the info! I hope that they would let me know if my application is missing anything before the Dec. 1 ED deadline though....I guess I can call next week and double check.

I live in Los Angeles and Loyola is ranked 21 out of 21 schools I applied to. (Safety) The only other California school is Boalt.

ED applicant here. Loyola is my #1. Does anyone know how much of a bump ED at Loyola specifically gives? I wouldn't imagine there would be many ED apps to Loyola, since it is usually a safety school to the UCLA ED applicants.

I would expect a large number of people to apply ED to Loyola, actually. In fact, probably more than UCLA ED.

I expect a huge number of lower tier school applicants (especially Southwestern, but also others) to apply ED to Loyola.

I think the applicants from the last cycle got their status checkers through snail mail November 17...hopefully that means we should be getting them soon??

HOLY COW. I think they have spies patrolling this fourm. Literally a second after I posted that a new message popped up in my inbox and it was my status checker from LLS. Maybe if I ask for an acceptance on this fourm I will get it as well.......
