The admissions office just emailed me with a question about my app, and then after I replied my status changed from "incomplete" to "ready for review" (I applied about a week ago), so I'm guessing that means they're there doing admissions things - in fact they're probably looking at your app right now.

Just the previous poster's suggestion that the scholarship data was yet to be decided / released. IDK I'm hoping it is because I'm got zilch so far.

I received an email a week ago asking for my tax information to be considered for financial aid. Are these documents required to get a scholly package? Or just loans/grants?

Oh ok. I'd say it's probably accurate, but not complete. Aka it said I got the Carswell scholarship - I'd say that's accurate, but I may get more. Same goes for you... it says pending, so definitely not complete.
And hear, hear with the PP who said hopefully scholly info will come out this week! Do you think it will be emailed or mailed? Just wondering because I'm going home on Friday for a week, and was seriously hoping to do some negotiating while I have some time off and am at home.

Has anyone else had the financial info removed from BLS Connect since the weekend or is it just me? Did they figure out who I am?

I cannot access the financial aid link at all on my bls connect unless I use the specific link found in this forum a few pages back.

It says pending, so they probably didn't realize it was made public (kind of like professors who accidentally release grades online before class), and then took that box away. Hopefully they're finalizing things soon, though!

It worked for me by clicking on the boxes, filling it in, then saving it when I was done. Maybe you ask if you can print it out and mail it to them?

Hey, sorry to be redundant (I'm late to this thread), but how/when are we expected to receive merit scholarship information? I went back a few pages and got the link for MyBLS and it says the Dean's Merit and Centennial Grant are pending. Is this information correct? Also, I applied late January and got into the full time program via email and reg mail on 3/1. Still have not received the admit packet so maybe some scholarship info will be in there?

Just went from "Ready to Review" to "In Review" today! So excited!
Does anyone have any experience with the student housing? From what I saw on their website, it looks awesome.

Have been in review since 1/27. Seems like many ppl with Jan. review dates have already gotten decisions. Really tempted to call and ask what is going on with my app...

$5 says someone from this forum called to ask if they'd be receiving additional money than what's listed on BLS Connect, and that that's the reason we no longer have access to that information.

is BLS usually an asshole about rejections? I hate schools who write a flat out "Denied" on the SC and nothing that follows, not so much an email or anything under mailings saying a letter was sent. At least give me some dignified response for the effort I put into putting an app together.

That's messed up. I hate status checker -- so impersonal and it just raises my anxiety because I check it like 100 times a day.
