I think your tour was just a timing issue. I visited while they were on spring break, and my tour suffered from being too long (honestly, I did not need the librarian to show me how to use the library website!). However, I can honestly say you probably got more from it than I did, since the co-eds (and all law students with even the vaguest semblence of a life) were off campus for break. Lets just say that the selection issue exposed me to all of the least interesting students Oxford had to offer!

Drove 4 1/2 hours for 10 minute talk and 20 min tour. It was almost as if they were letting the new building do the selling. But I can understand why everyone was stressed out right now. They are having a big conference at the new building coming up soon, and the ribbon cutting and dedication ceremony too. They are still putting the finishing touches on the new building even though they are holding classes there. It is a huge investment to the law program at Ole Miss. I wish I could make the Addmitted Students Day on April 8, but I could not get off work at that time. I spent my vacation last week visting a couple of schools.
I spent the rest of the afternoon after the law school visit walking around campus and getting a feel for Ole Miss in general. The co-eds sure are easy on the eyes in Oxford and the campus is beautiful. That in itself could be a selling point too. I should have my mind made up by Friday if I am attending or not though.
