Re: Rutgers-Camden Law School Class of 2014
PM'd.
I also just finished finals . 0L's, yes the legal market is not good (though pretty much no job market is good) and it is very tough to get a job no matter where you go to school. I hope I wasn't sugar-coating stuff, because I wasn't trying to. Good luck to everyone who is applying and if you have any questions about school in general, I will try my best to answer them.

If it helps, they send the decision first via email, based on the accounts here. Keep checking that email, and hopefully there were be some good news.

I think that the autobiographical statement was your personal statement. Add it as an attachment and put it after your resume.

In today!!!!
159/3.09!
Non URM - Hispanic female!
Edit: Let me just add that I loved the personal letter they sent with acceptance (this is my first acceptance so Im not sure if this is standard). They said they loved my personal statement which definitely made me happy!

I applied way back in sept/Oct but did not go complete (received my complete email) until Tuesday because I retook my LSAT in Dec.twb136 wrote:Can you update us to when you applied? You are similar to my numbers and just curious.oreo3405 wrote:In today!!!!

This is actually a great observation. I did not factor in the December test as an extenuating circumstance that would most likely hold up all applicants since after this test it is generally the entire applicant pool.NJcollegestudent wrote: Author Message

Re: Rutgers-Camden Law School Class of 2014
i called admissions on friday and they said that applicants typically get a response in feb or march. i brought up the fact that it had already been more than 8 weeks and they still had the same response.
i guess since it has been so long ago since i applied that i'm just expecting a less than desirable outcome. oh well!

I'm a current 1L and I did not hear until March (btw, if you get a sketchball letter inviting you to Dean's Law Day, it means you got in). I did re-take the LSAT in February though.dinomyte wrote:i called admissions on friday and they said that applicants typically get a response in feb or march. i brought up the fact that it had already been more than 8 weeks and they still had the same response.

Re: Rutgers-Camden Law School Class of 2014
Perhaps I got Northwood's seat, because I am in! I applied to the Part-time program. I submitted my app on 1/8/11. It was received on 1/13/11. It went complete on 1/18.
This is a very surreal moment since this is not only the first decision I received, but also the acceptance of my cycle.

How difficulty is it to keep a 3.5?keg411 wrote: If anyone has any questions, please feel free to ask .
I checked their curve and all I got was this:
"Class rank was eliminated in 1972. Each semester, the law school identifies Dean's Scholars as the top 5% and Dean's List as the next 20%. At graduation, highest honors and high honors are determined by the faculty and honors is given to the top 15%"
Which I take as 'no curve.'
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
