I received the Waitlist Enquiry on Jun 14th. Goodluck guys.
Congrats! Have you decided whether you'll accept?
I will most likely be attending. See you in August
Congratulations!

LEOP folks, did you do the homework that's due tomorrow, and will you be attending the voluntary class? I have not done the homework yet and really don't plan on attending the voluntary sessions either...

I should know this since I've been at Hastings for a year, but what is LEOP?

I just got the email too. What does it mean? Do they ever offer scholarships/grants to waitlisted applicants?

Same question. Does every waitlisted applicant receive this email? I replied within minutes.

Are these the "Are you still interested?" emails?
If so, some of you will probably be getting a call today or tomorrow. The same thing happened to me last year. Although if I remember right, it was earlier than this - the first round of waitlist applicants being called.
I still got a Hastings Grant off the WL too.

Do they let you know right away if you will be receiving a grant?/How long do they give you to decide?

Not right away - about 6 days after I was admitted.
Also, the financial aid award came after my seat deposit was due.
Most people receive at least the Hastings Grant, as long as reported little-to-no savings or other financial resources.

Do all of the people who receive the waitlist enquiry email and who respond yes get accepted? Or simply put in a pool of other applicants for further consideration? I'm thrilled to have finally received the email but I'm trying not to get my hopes too high so it won't sting so much in case I get rejected...

Damn. So you have to decide whether or not to accept before knowing the financial details. That is crazy!

I spent a while analyzing the WL scheme at Hastings.
From studying the year before mine, it seemed that if you received this email during the first round of WL admits, you were in. After that, they are just culling the WL and nothing is guaranteed. Some people got in, some people didn't.
I'm going to assume that this isn't the first round of WL admits. If it is the first round, then everyone who got the email should get the call - based on year's past.

Let me blow your minds here -
I just got the Waitlist Enquiry e-mail FOR THE SECOND TIME.
That's right. I got it once the first week of June, and then again a couple of hours ago. I responded to the first one within 30min of receiving it.

I agree with everyone, I don't know what to expect anymore. I got the "are you still interested" email on May 2nd and again yesterday. This is pretty nerve wracking...
