I scheduled my hold interview for march, combining the trip for when I visit WUSTL...only an extra $50ish to fly thru chicago (plus the hotel for the night but still not bad since if I wasn't going to go to chicago I would have spent 2 days in STL)

Much appreciated. BTW, does anyone know for sure when "hold" applicants should hear back? The blog is still from last admissions cycle and says between mid to late april...

The letter you should have received says by early May. However, we know that NU doesn't always hold to its predicted/promised time lines (the infamous 'eight week promise' springs to mind).

Thank god. I was going to be pissed if I'm conveniently 12 hours north of where I live and can't interview because there are no slots.

Hello everyone,

I am just wondering what kind of questions they ask during the on-campus interview. I am super nervous about my interview with them... Please, I need your help!

Standard interview questions
-strengths/weaknesses
-leadership experience
-most significant work experience
-extracurricular experience
-why law school/why NU

It was only half an hour and goes up very fast. I felt like there was no time to think at all so you need to have your answers prepared. And then you have time to ask questions yourself in the end. Bring your resume - most questions come from it and the first time the interviewer sees it is 15 min before your interview so do not assume they know too much about you

I applied 11/3, went complete 11/30, and my status updated 1/6, and I still haven't heard a thing. Is anybody else in the same situation? Should I call and see if my app fell behind the fridge?

I dunno if anyone else had this, but the only question that threw me off was "What do you feel has been your greatest contribution to the community?" I was completely unprepared for it, so I figure it's definitely worth mentioning for those with upcoming interviews.

I called the admissions office and made it known that they need to use less ambiguous wording in the future when describing how and when holds can interview.

I assume this is a given, but let's all agree to post in here when we hear back about financial aid awards. Cool? Cool.

Lots of bullshit hypothetical estimates for unexpected costs that you are supposed to expect somehow. Enjoy!

I called today and was told there would be no time for me to interview :?

Hopefully they add slots soon. Or else they're getting a hand delivered letter of how I couldn't interview, but I still really want to go to their school.

Wondering why, for the past 3 days, my status checker has said "is complete as of." (No date).
Perhaps this is the official black hole.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
