I am from the region, work in Center City and wanted to go part-time. I haven't felt this horrible in a long time. If I was flat denied I would have been cool with it but for some reason this just feels like a slap in the face.
Sorry man. Write them a LOCI, maye accompanied by another LOR. I would really fight for them if you wan to go.
I wrote a LOCI last year and went on a campus tour. This year I used three LOR's instead of two. Overall, I made sure that my application was better than last and if they literally called me right now with an offer I would write them a check to go. My issue is that if I write a LOCI, contact them, etc. I also run the risk of looking like a mentally disturbed individual.
Lets compound the problem in I only applied to Temple, Widener and Rutger-Camden because I am going to go part-time while staying at my job. I go to Temple, I can live in Philly. I go to Widener (accepted, my last choice of the three), I live in Philly. Rutgers, I have to move across the river so I can afford it and get in state tuition. If I hold out hope, I am forced to not move and run the risk of going to Rutgers while paying out of state.
Now that everyone knows my life story, have a great evening and best of luck.
