I've been "Complete" since 11/11; Should I be worried about this?

I'm annoyed that I haven't been accepted/rejected by this school yet.

Same here. I have been complete since 11/12. Very annoyed and impatient.kk19131 wrote:I'm annoyed that I haven't been accepted/rejected by this school yet.

I was admitted via status checker Sunday. I then received an acceptance email Monday evening. The email stated that an acceptance package would be mailed shortly after the new year.rs2004 wrote:any email to that effect or do we receive word by status checker (and i guess finally snail mail)?LegallyBlonde923 wrote:It will say "accepted" or "rejected" and the dateJDHopeful wrote:But what happens after status checker says "Complete?" To those of you waiting for a decision: I went complete twice before a decision was rendered. Once on 11/7, and then my status checker updated on 11/30, still saying complete. It wasn't until last Sunday (12/19) that I reieved a decision. I view the second complete status as 'in review'.

Does anyone know what percentage of last year's matriculating class was in state or out of state?

Had previously been complete via status checker at 11/29 and just went complete again (12/27). Did anyone who has already been notified have this happen to them? Also, is anyone aware of Temple's policy for attaining in state tuition after 1L? Could be a deal breaker for me.

My status checker updated to "complete" with another date before it went to "accepted". Not a bad thing, based on experience with other checkers it seems to indicate they looked at your file again on that date.noturningback wrote:Had previously been complete via status checker at 11/29 and just went complete again (12/27). One of my good friends is a Temple 1L from NJ. She was able to get in-state by switching to a PA driver's license which you can do after living in PA for one year (I believe it's a 1-year minimum anyway). She went to Temple undergrad and thus had already been living in the city for over a year and could attain it for 1L but I believe if you live in the state for a year, you can then apply for residency and get in-state for 2L. Hope that helps

How long after your second status update until you were subsequently notified? And yes, the in-state info was both helpful and reassuring

Hey, if they weren't too good for a PT program I would have applied. However, I had to work, and I had to stay in Philly. My options were Temple or Rutgers. I preferred to not risk getting stabbed in the face and/or shot. So I took Temple with the scholly.johnnyutah wrote:Awww, we're not all bad, and some of us even come up to the Temple stop on the orange line from time to timethwalls wrote:Thankfully, the snobby Penn kids stay on their side of the city...
I live in Manayunk and work at 16th and Market, the fact that Temple is on both the Orange line and the Norristown line is awesome. For me, Temple worked out perfectly.
