Ya, kinda splitter stats. Seems more WUSTL-y than UW-y.

It's really not that hard to find it. A lot easier than finding last year's WUSTL thread and posting in it too...

Here is a question. Would you rather attend UW with a ton of money or Top-14 for sticker?

Re: U Washington 2011 Applicants
I would probably rather attend UW at sticker than the bottom half of the T14 at sticker. No lie.certpetitioner wrote:Here is a question. Would you rather attend UW with a ton of money or Top-14 for sticker?

Re: U Washington 2011 Applicants
You like UW that much, huh? Are you are Washington resident? That would explain your answer a little more because non-resident at UW is not that much different than some T-14s. Maybe say $40,000 more over 3 years.crit_racer wrote:I would probably rather attend UW at sticker than the bottom half of the T14 at sticker. No lie.certpetitioner wrote:Here is a question. To be fair, it seems pretty easy to get the in-state waiver your second and third years. (IIRC)

Re: U Washington 2011 Applicants
I did not know that. So that would push the costs to around an extra $64,000 over three years. Is UW worth the saved money compared to the opportunities offered by a T-14?akili wrote:To be fair, it seems pretty easy to get the in-state waiver your second and third years. (IIRC)

Akili, if you were offered UVA and UW at sticker where would you go?certpetitioner wrote:I did not know that. So that would push the costs to around an extra $64,000 over three years. I'd choose UW without really sweating it. I have a handful of reasons, but basically it's just where I want to be.certpetitioner wrote:Here is a question. Would you rather attend UW with a ton of money or Top-14 for sticker?

Unless you really want to practice in the PNW after school, the T14 at sticker is almost always the better choicecertpetitioner wrote:I did not know that. Re: U Washington 2011 Applicants
I honestly don't know. The connections I have up in the Northwest are really tempting. Alumni from my university tend to stay in the Northwest and I know a few lawyers and judges from that. However, if I have Vandy with $$, that's an easy choice for Vandy. Michigan vs. UW would be even harder. I think it would come down to visiting each campus.certpetitioner wrote:Akili, if you were offered UVA and UW at sticker where would you go?certpetitioner wrote:I did not know that. Is there a difference in your GI Bill (sorry if I'm calling it the wrong thing) funding for the two schools?Aggiegrad2011 wrote:I'm in at UVA and am turning it down to attend UW.
