Still complete on 11/05/2010. I applied to Villanova because it was 1. free and 2. At the time I thought it carried some prestige.

So nice to meet you. I've been complete since 11/16 so not quite as bad as you but pretty close. I have called so many times to get answers and it's the same thing everytime "You should be going into review within the week". Hasn't happened yet, I am not expecting miracles. For some reason I can't let it go though, despite the fact that this scandal hit.

I sat in on a Contracts class today at VLS and I really enjoyed the content, professor, and overall class vibe. If you have the opportunity, i recommend scheduling an opportunity to sit in on a class, it was really worth the time and the experience.

You must not have sat in on Dellapenna's class then (120 kids at 12:40).

I drafted my LOCI this morning already and I am going to get a third LOR. I've been to the school and sat in on a tort class on 11/3/10. I called admissions and really expressed that if accepted I'll definitely take the seat. I'm 30 years old and a professional money manager that lives within 40 minutes to the school. I'm not really shopping around a "bunch" of schools.

Wait list purgatory....... not fun.

haha no I sat in on Saiman at 11:00 am.

Ironically enough: after my visit today, after being complete since 1/10, i am under review as of today 2/14.

I just got a survey monkey about why I withdrew my app from Villanova. I thought that was interesting, at least they are trying to improve the process.

Interested as to what questions it asked if you would not mind sharing.

It asked why I withdrew my application, if I had visited the campus (if so to rank the visit), did Villanova offer me a scholarship, where did I decide to attend law school, what are my reasons for choosing that law school (it gave a list of choices), did I receive a scholarship to that law school and how much (it gave ranges), and any other comments...
there might have been a couple more questions that I don't remember.

Well, Villanova.... you have had me in review since 12/9 (and then again on 2/11)... and have yet to give me a decision. I mean, by all means please keep me waiting indefinitely on your "prestigious" acceptance.

Did anyone else just get an email about applying for financial aid?

My status checker still says complete, but it seems bizarre to send this to someone that hasn't been admitted yet.

Got the same thing and I'm still under review. Ohio State did this also earlier in the week.

I got it too, not yet admitted according to the status checker. I have had a few schools do this, usually the expensive ones that know they're expensive! :P

Yup, just got that too, and I haven't been offered admission yet either. I wonder if it means anything...

I felt the same way so I called the admissions office. The woman said that email was sent to all applicants, no matter the admissions status. I initially thought that said email was a sign of acceptance, but I was mistaken

I really think it means - Get ready if you get admitted, this place is no joke with tuition!
