So... I never thought there would be so many random GMU fans in downtown Philly.
But I sure did have my Villanova law shirt on.

Villanova's fact sheet says that 61% of the students are from OOS. Does the student body consist of a lot of Villanova UGs?

I've only met a few in my sections. I definitely see more OOS students. But I could be wrong.Bless wrote:Villanova's fact sheet says that 61% of the students are from OOS. Does the student body consist of a lot of Villanova UGs?

You're a student at VLS, right? Any good recommendations on where to live? I have the student living packet, which is a great help. I've also been recommended to live in Radcliff House (I believe that's what it was called). Do you have any further insight?nooyyllib wrote:Congrats to everyone who got Scholly $!

I currently live at Rosemont Plaza. I would recommend this place to any future 1Ls. It's a little pricey (I pay $1015 a month because I have shitty view outside the window and $50 a month for parking inside the garage). The rent is for a single bedroom apartment and includes all the utilities (including TV). However, it doesn't include internet (I pay $35).Bless wrote:You're a student at VLS, right? So far, living close to school has been awesome. (e.g. no need to rush to class because it's literally a 4 min drive using the backroads to school) Also, Rosemont Plaza is super quiet because majority of the tenants are old folks.
Another place I would recommend is Radnor House (right next to Rosemont Plaza). Couple of my friends who are also 1Ls live there and like it a lot.
Both apartments are also very close (walking distance) to the Rosemont train station (to go to center city).
Hope this helps

If you go through Radnor, I'd recommend shopping realtors. The one that I chose (recommended by VLS IIRC) shows pretty bleh rooms. However, my friends room (from a different realtor) is ballin' in comparison, and is actually 50 or 75$ cheaper a month I think.Bless wrote:It does. Radnor house is what I was told about. Agree with nooy, Rosemont or Radnor are by far the best for first year because they're the closet to the school and to the train station.

Yeah, but I don't have to worry about leaving the water running or the lights on. I'm not a environmentalist and am lazy so I just run the dishwasher every time I have to do "dishes" (even if its just a pot). Also, I don't have to worry about paying the bills on time and shit. Just one less thing to worry about.Bless wrote:It does. Radnor house is what I was told about. A thou is a lot to be paying a month! God bless you, lol. I appreciate the information.
Also, I get free HBO channels which is clutch at times.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
