Have I seen you at the Tuesday crit series at PIR?

No, I usually race the Thursday night driveway series here (Austin, TX).

Love the username. I'm a campy fiend but, unfortunately, a Shitmano user.

Why are you disappointed? With a scholarship that large, I'd be very happy.

It's nothing against L&C, not at all. This is the way all law schools work. I'm a realist. We're all trying to get into law school during perhaps the most out of control inflationary period in the history of higher education, combined with a miserable job market, frankly.

Jacking up tuition $4000 (almost 13% year over year!) in this economy is nuts if you ask me. Students better get a miniature giraffe.

Because, I have a certain set amount at which I can afford to consider a school, and that doesn't make it.

I appreciate the scholarship very much; I'm just disappointed that it wasn't enough for me to logically consider L&C.

In via mail tonight, but I am also a little bit disappointed by the scholarship. It is good, but less than what I was given by UIUC and UT Austin. I love Portland, but I just don't think I can make L+C make financial sense.

Concerning logging in to the Admitted Students page, does the browser have anything to do with whether the page is displayed with Year of Birth vs. Password? I've never actually clicked on it to see Year of Birth; my wife had to take a screen shot to show that it does come up, though intermittently.

She tried to log me in, with no luck. Just curious if others see the Year of Birth variant consistently. This is the site I'm going to:

I've been trying too and get the screen you see as well as the YoB for password screen.

Mine says password but using my year of birth as the password logs me in regardless.

If the giraffe was pre-trained to give me kisses on demand and sit on pillows on my couch all day, I would gladly pay 3-4x sticker.

More choice adds stress, but is probably better overall.

To be fair, my email said that they emailed my acceptance because I'm not in the US.

Does anyone know how negotiable L&C scholarships are? CoA is really high compared with my Canadian options, but I would *love* to go to L&C if I could make it work.

I went from "under review" to "file complete" this morning.

Seriously L+C!?!
It just means they're done reviewing the application.

It's 4 stages:
Application package assembled
Application sent to review
Decision made
Decision mailed

The date changes and the status says "file complete" after each stage.
This is what someone posted a few days back, so it looks like it should be 4 updates. I've been at my 3rd since 12/20. Today is my 16 week anniversary of submitting my application. *sigh*
