I got a full scholarship with top 40% stipulation, i don't remember if it had a name though.

I got invited to accepted students day, but still haven't received an acceptance letter. Guess I'm in.

It's a hell of a commute. There are a few other dates listed at the bottom of the invite that might be nore manageable for you. Honestly, I'd save your money and ask to speak with current students/admissions officers etc via phone.

Sounds like a plan to me. Awaiting scholarship info still, I think that's gonna make or break St. John's for me..especially before I've decided to head out there for a visit.

I applied on the 24th and decision sent on the 26th. I live in Alaska and you can never know when mail will get here.

I got the admitted students email too. I'll probably go to the one at the end of March. With the weather we've been having in NY, I don't want to sign on for a trip to Queens until it's closer to springtime.

(FYI I already received my decision before the email)

Is there any way to find out if you got in without getting the letter. That is did all admitted students get an email or can you try to log in to the admitted students website? My friend is supposed to be finding out soon--whenever the mail gets there, that is--and I'm super nervous for her and wonder if she should check those things.

Eventually (I mean probably within a few weeks of the decision, I would guess) stuff about deposits, transcripts, and immunizations should show up on the requirements section of the status checker site. But an applicant really should get the postal letter by the time that comes into effect.

Anyone getting emails about admitted student events is probably in.

This is speculation, but...

They just told us the dates of the accepted students day. I tried calling today to see if I was accepted and they just told me to wait for the letter. Based on LSN and here I believe that they have only sent out acceptance to people that qualify for scholarships. While, I have not received my letter, I believe based on LSN that I will be offer a very generous scholarship. If your friend has a decision in the mail I would say expect good things because it doesn't seem like anyone has been rejected yet.

The thing is that people base these opinions off of LSN and LSN isn't very representative. I mean, I don't think the entire set of green dots on the St. John's graph can possibly be in anyway representative of the entire batch of decisions thus far. She has a really low LSAT and I think St. John's and Rutgers are her last shot in the TT. I'm just really hoping for her. I feel like I'm possibly in more agony waiting for her mail to arrive than she is.

Did you speak to one of the deans?

Maybe I'll try sending an email to the woman that sent the admitted students day info.

My status checker changed to "Decision has been made" this morning. Only took about a week of being in review. I guess they don't communicate decisions any other way than snail mail. Here's hoping for some money
