Use your URM and you're in for sure.ptblazer wrote:Well got the Dec. LSAT score back, not what I was hoping for to say the least. I actually did one point worse. I guess my question is how do you guys feel my chances are getting in at Boulder with my current scores and stuff? Do you think I need to retake the exam? My practice test average was 165.
Here is what I consider important admissions material for various reasons like diversity and such. Let me know what you think, do I have a shot? Any advice/experience is appreciated.
LSAT: Oct. 161 Dec. 160.
GPA: 3.70
Applying for dual MS/JD degree (maybe this helps?)
Undergrad Major: Chemistry (not typical applicant major, helps?)
I'm also a relectant under represented minority (relectant, because I hate using it to get ahead) and a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer.
Haha. Snail mail, just a small white envelope.theavrock wrote:Congrats!!! Now dish the dirtCrimLaw300 wrote:In today! No scholly info until later, though.

Yikes! Be careful out there. Not gonna lie though, I'm kind of jealous of the snow... We haven't gotten any fresh snow in weeks, even in the mountains. I may have to make the 5 hour drive to Whistler this weekend though... They are planning on getting 25-40 cm this week.krad wrote:Morning hopeful Buffs! I, for one, will not be weaving in traffic as the roads are shitayyy today up to a foot in the mountains yesterday/last night! Too bad Monday = work.
I don't mind the snow so much as the bitter cold we've got for the next day or two. Low last night was negative 10, high today is around 5 to 10 above. Granted, Denver/Boulder only get this cold once or twice a year, but for someone that busses it and walks a good deal everyday, even a few days a year really sucks! Ten inches of snow just slows the walking down!chrisbru wrote:Yikes! Be careful out there. Not gonna lie though, I'm kind of jealous of the snow... I hope so too - looking forward a smashburger and I work too far away to walk down there!krad wrote:Yeah blah, currently 13 deg here by work. At least the sun's out I hope the mall ride's running later for my errands downtown!
Mmm and with that comment, it's time for my lunch! Too bad I'm in Bfield, no Smashburg for me.fundamentallybroken wrote:I hope so too - looking forward a smashburger and I work too far away to walk down there!krad wrote:Yeah blah, currently 13 deg here by work.
