I guess my question is how do you guys feel my chances are getting in at Boulder with my current scores and stuff? Do you think I need to retake the exam? My practice test average was 165.

Here is what I consider important admissions material for various reasons like diversity and such. Let me know what you think, do I have a shot? Any advice/experience is appreciated.

LSAT: Oct. 161 Dec. 160.
GPA: 3.70
Applying for dual MS/JD degree (maybe this helps?)
Undergrad Major: Chemistry (not typical applicant major, helps?)
I'm also a relectant under represented minority (relectant, because I hate using it to get ahead) and a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer.
Use your URM and you're in for sure.

Good morning everyone! Hope y'all had a good weekend. I will be promptly weaving in and out of traffic after work today to get to my mail as fast as possible. Anyone else?

Yikes! Be careful out there. Not gonna lie though, I'm kind of jealous of the snow... We haven't gotten any fresh snow in weeks, even in the mountains. I may have to make the 5 hour drive to Whistler this weekend though... They are planning on getting 25-40 cm this week.

I don't mind the snow so much as the bitter cold we've got for the next day or two. Low last night was negative 10, high today is around 5 to 10 above. Granted, Denver/Boulder only get this cold once or twice a year, but for someone that busses it and walks a good deal everyday, even a few days a year really sucks! Ten inches of snow just slows the walking down!

Mmm and with that comment, it's time for my lunch! Too bad I'm in Bfield, no Smashburg for me.

I haven't even gotten a status checker acknowledgment from Colorado yet. I applied in December. Is this normal? Haha...

They don't have a status checker. Did they send you an e-mail acknowledging that your app was complete? You should've received that.

Yeah, I believe I got the "complete" e-mail about a week after I sent my app in (November).

And YES, please tell them that they can just go ahead and call us all with the decisions asap.

I never got a complete email, so after 3ish weeks I emailed them to inquire and they emailed back saying it was complete... This was late Nov/early Dec.
