yea my status updated 2/28/11 and the last date was like 12/17. does anyone know how long a decision will take now? looking at lsn i thought my numbers were a likely admit, but now im starting to freak out..

My status did the same thing.

From what I understand, this most likley means our applications are now under review. There is something wrong in this system so that the status does not reliably update to under review from complete when the application is actually under review. I'm a Tulane undergrad, and the unreliability of campus IT is something I've come to expect. It was even worse four years ago. They only just launched a centeralized internet portal for students. In 2010.

No idea, but I've been accepted and I got it.

Haha, don't worry, we're in the same boat. I'm still at complete, too--I just know it's been reviewed at some point since November!
On the upside, I'm sure the admit letter and accompanying tote bag will do a lot to perk up a day with the grandkids

Same for me. I knew with my numbers that I wasn't an auto-admit but I was hoping to have heard SOMETHING by now, considering every other school I've applied to has said something.

Hey guys, Congrats to all the recently accepted!

I am planning on going to the ASW in April and am on a budget. I have been looking at the hotels listed on the Tulane travel portal website and found India House Hostel. It's right off of Canal St. and seems like a very cool and inexpensive ($20 per night) place to hang out while I am checking out NO and Tulane. Anyone know about this place, or considering staying? I will be traveling alone, and although I have traveled quite a bit, I have actually never stayed in a true hostel with strangers. It would be nice to meet up with some ASW'ers.
