Did your status checker change? I checked in in awhile and can't remember if people were saying that Tulane was keeping the status checker current..

Anyone else getting lots of love from Tulane? They've reached out to me in a lot of different ways since my acceptance. I just got another email that there's a prof who will be in my area this weekend hosting a meet & greet/q&a.

I have to say, it's working. They've already made me feel welcome and I've never even been there!

hey. my status checker changed to "Decision has been made." Can I assume a rejection or WL since no e-mail?

I've been sitting at complete for over two months now. Would it be appropriate to send an e-mail inquiring about my application?

Edit: went ahead and sent them an e-mail. Hopefully I get reviewed soon!

I would say wait a little while longer. They haven't even had your app 2 months. There was probably a large influx after the Dec LSAT.

Got the rejection letter yesterday. It was a really nice letter?

I was a bit surprised. Numbers are in profile. I know they've taken people with my stats before.

Guess they just didn't like me.

Anyone who recieved a scholarship: does your letter say that you need to keep a 3.0 GPA which will put you in the top 57%?

I am curious because I recently spoke with an admissions officer who said that the top 57% figure is not correct. She mentioned that Tulane has instituted a new grading curve which sets the mean GPA for most classes between a 3.2 and a 3.3, thus making a 3.0 fall between the top 75% and top 85% of the class. This makes the GPA requirement seem much more lenient.

Any Tulane students out there who know if this is true?

My status checker still says "File Complete" as of 10/13/2010. Does Tulane just not update its status checker regularly or is it possible that my file has still not been reviewed after waiting for over 4 months? If its the latter I'm just gonna withdraw my application because a rejection seems inevitable at this point.

I never went under review via the status checker; I just got an acceptance email. I would call them and ask if your file is being reviewed.

I have a good friend who is a 2L at Tulane now. She said that the new grading curve makes it a lot easier to make a 3.0 and keep it. I can't speak to the %, but I hope that helps to answer your question.

Also in with $20k/year. Weird considering some of the rejections some people are getting (I'm not URM).
