I know they don't negotiate the $ amount but has anyone had success negotiating the grade stipulation in their scholarship?

What is the specific wording of the question? I can't remember. I did disclose my speeding ticket to all schools that asked, because in the state in which I received it (MD) a speeding ticket is a misdemeanor. Some schools specifically said not to disclose speeding tickets, but if they didn't specify that, then I disclosed.

28. (a) Have you ever been charged with, arrested for, convicted of, pled guilty or nolo contendere for a violation of any
law? (For purposes of question 28, a conviction includes a verdict or finding of guilt, regardless of whether sentence
is imposed by the court. You should also disclose offenses which resulted in purged, sealed, obliterated, dismissed,
or destroyed records, regardless of whether you have been told that you need not disclose any such event. These will
also be requested by state bar authorities in many states. If you are not sure about the nature or the ultimate
disposition of a particular charge, you are advised to make full disclosure, as a subsequent finding that you failed to
disclose relevant information could have disqualifying consequences.) (Yes or No)
Hmm I did not disclose my only speeding ticket which I got when I was 17. I recently just got another one. Maybe when I put in the deposit I should say something?
I'm by no means anything resembling an authority on the subject so take this as you will. I just did some searching on the interwebz and all of this is for the C&F portion of the bar exam. The bar probably will specifically ask for traffic tickets etc, but they are mainly looking for any big discrepancies between your application to law school and the bar like omitting arrests. I don't think that minor traffic fines will raise any red flags that are unexplainable unless you have some ridiculous body count of speeding tickets or license suspensions. I'm going to take my chances. I've lived all over and have literally no idea what county/state several of my tickets are in.

BTW...Deposit is going in tomorrow. I'll see y'all in the Fall. Now it's house hunting time. Anyone know how to apply to get on the "House Hunters" show?

I have put my deposit down and will be a member of theTLS class of 2014. I am really excited about tulane, and I would love to start getting to know those of you who be in NOLA with me in the fall. For lack of anything really exciting about myself, my name is George, and I just finished up my undergrad work in Illinois. I love New Orleans, and hope to never see snow again iin my life if I can help it. I am looking into some of the maritime options down here, and hope to get the certificate.
Feel free to shoot me a pm if you are bored with waiting for school to start again and are excited about tulane.

Does that mean that you weren't offered admission yet, or not at all? Either way that really sucks. They shouldn't be making mistakes like that.

IN off the wait list!! Still pondering Loyola in Chicago and its offer ...

So -- I need PM's! I have never been to NOLA. Tell me what I need to know about the school, etc. I'll pay the deposit tomorrow and have a high probability of attending unless wait list movement from other schools occur.

Congrats! Just curious, how long did they give you to decide to take their offer? I'm hoping to get off the waitlist soon.

Just out of curiosity, what did those of you accepted score on the LSAT, and how many of you are from NOLA or LA?

I thought I had the credentials to get in, and I'm from New Orleans. I guess I was wrong.

Oh yeah, and I had a fee waiver/invitation to apply.

Oh I hate you so much right now. I thought I would be making that same decision, but alas, it was made for me.

I recommend you take a foot tour of Central City or Hollygrove. Cheap rent, and real, down to Earth locals.

I got into tulane with a 153 LSAT score. They loved my app and even gave me 6,000 a year. I am not a urm . I got into temple law and I am from Philly so I decided to stay home and chose temple over tulane. Didn't want to practice law in the south and didn't like Nola too much . But tulane is an amazing school

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
