Does anybody know when was the last time someone posted that a decision was made on their application besides getting waitlisted? It seems like it has been forever.

Why would you ask for a scholly when you aren't admitted yet?red_alertz wrote:yeah i got waitlisted and i called for a scholly but they said noadonai wrote:Anyone have any success in negotiating a scholly?

u can't do it randomly, you have to be realistic, at least apply and figure out if u have any chances or if the school has some doughs

I think I've officially decided on Chapman. I'll be sending in my deposit soon! Hope to see some of you there in the fall!

Re: Chapman 2011!
Oh you know, I only care because I actually want to go to Chapman. I'm not simply going to go to a different school because my numbers match better with their interquartiles. I feel like Chapman's the best fit for me.red_alertz wrote:why do you care? your stats r too good for chap anywayTXJD wrote:Does anybody know when was the last time someone posted that a decision was made on their application besides getting waitlisted? Congrats, conroyc! I sent in my deposit last week. Will you be at ASD on Friday?

So if you get the scholarship but don't get accepted does that mean you get free money?longhornlaw wrote:
What, you guys didn't ask schools for scholarships randomly? I mean, I didn't apply to Harvard but still shot them a negotiating email.

Wait, what? Am I going to have to balance all my pros for Chapman against the fear of sitting next to a guy who talks about trolling for divorcees?longhornlaw wrote:Awesome! Re: Chapman 2011!
WHAT Andrew that was my new bestie?!
Don't worry like Andrew said the majority of the people at Scholar's Weekend were completely amazing! Especially the fab four!
TXJD like everyone said I wouldn't be too worried, I'm a 162 and a 3.57 from SDSU, white girl from orange county with some fairly good letters of req and I got a 90%... Longhorn and Conroyc also got good offers with similar scores. Unless they have given it all out which redalertz seems to think is an issue you should be fine.

Fragged did you try and negotiate more? Or just a scholarship in general?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
