Re: Penn 2011
do you guys think its weird that my app has been complete for over a month with no movement to under review? I don't know why it frustrates me more than apps that sit at under review...totally irrational of me but I can't help it!

Hey all!
I'm new to the boards and whatnot. Has anyone been either wl'ed or admitted with a 165-169 lsat score? Or should I just pack it in at this point? I'm UR right now, first time. I'm an older applicant - out of undergrad for over 6 years, have a master's, been living in Philly teaching public school. Thoughts?

What is your UGPA? If it is 3.9+ you have a decent shot with scores at the upper end of that range.drums! wrote:Hey all!

I don't think you're the only person hanging in there. My app went complete mid-January and it still hasn't gone under review yet. My app was initially incomplete, so I ended up sending additional materials, then went complete a few days afterwards. Yeah, I know how you feel. Are you planning to call them?

I hadn't been planning on it but I might. My numbers would give me a solid shot at Penn if they were looking at me earlier in the cycle, and the more time goes by the lower my chances feel.
I'll let you know if I talk to someone about it.

Best of luck, but I wouldn't get your hopes up too much. You are a real "reach" candidate unless you are a URM.drums! wrote:bdubs wrote:What is your UGPA? If it is 3.9+ you have a decent shot with scores at the upper end of that range.drums! wrote:Hey all!

With ASW coming up soon (I believe - correct me if I'm wrong), do you guys think decisions will be coming out? I'm UCR 2/11 and would love some movement... Penn would probably tear me away from a difficult decision I may be faced with making.

ASW is March 25th-26th. But another school that someone asked about decisions before ASW said that unfortunately not all admitted students are able to attend.jrose5 wrote:With ASW coming up soon (I believe - correct me if I'm wrong), do you guys think decisions will be coming out? Arg, early January applicant, stuck on UCR 2-11. First one, too.

Still hanging at my first UR of 2/22. Guess it's only been a week, but I lack patience.
