Told her I had to call my mom because my cousin is at the undergrad and my mom's dream is that we will skip through the fields together. Was totally at a loss for words. The lady knew all about my app (local, have a twin, etc.) So excited!!!

Congratulations to those who got The Call this morning! As someone who has only a marginal chance of admittance, it's actually quite comforting to see posts with multiple exclamation points and sheer joy. Even if I get dinged, it's good to know others will be celebrating this weekend. Hats off to all of you.

And, yes, I'll be staring at my phone all day, anyway.

My whole family is local. Penn is a top choice for me. I can see myself spending the rest of my life in Philadelphia. Maybe I'd have an edge at UCI with local firms? Hopefully I get some $ to make it an easier choice.

Most people I know would pick NYC because growing up in Philly makes you long for a bigger city. I think you would be fine returning wherever you go, but either way you are set! Congrats again!

Being that I just went UCR 12/15, I feel it is safe to take a shower. Chances of a phonecall are minimal.

i was like, squealing, and he was trying to tell me important things. but what i remember: he was some important associate or assistant somebody, I kept saying, "OH MY GOD SO EXCITING!!", and he said status checkers would update tonight probably. And that we'd get more information later!
