I still can't believe that I may strike out of the entire T14 except for UPENN. Pretty depressing, but today could change a lot.
Boalt's not T14 anymore?
That was a different cycle with a different (lower) LSAT. Withdrew after stuff didn't work out. I did not reapply to Berkeley this year (it's complicated, PM for details). I got into the other T7 this year and hope to get into the new T7 (Michigan) soon.

Bah. In my 14th week since completion. Contacted Penn and got a "you should hear within the next few weeks." WTF? What happened to that "up to twelve weeks from the date of completion?"

seems like there is movement for Penn today, couple of WLs and rejections -- I guess Friday's aren't the only days then...

I'm wondering the same, NikaneOkie. I'm beginning to fear this is a rumor.

WL today. Somewhat disappointing, especially since I thought my 5-year plan essay was decent and I was really interested in the joint JD/MBE. Oh well, only one school left before my cycle is over...

Sorry to hear that . . .
And goddamn that's disheartening for me, too -- WL with a 176?!

+1 sorry, but if you got WL with that LSAT I'm very scared of my fate with the Penn admissions committee, perhaps YP?

I don't think it was YP, although I like to think I would have had a better shot if I had done ED (which I wasn't willing to do for a handful of reasons). The 176 was a retake. My substantially lower previous score was just under 5 years old, so I think some schools chose to ignore it - maybe Penn didn't. My GPA is also at their 25%, so that didn't help. Good luck to you both!

I have been under committee review since 3/8. How long does it usually take? I should be an auto-reject! But there is always that .000001% chance...

Sorry, but I've been at my first UCR since 2/11... I don't think I'm an auto reject, but I'm certainly not an auto admit either and they're taking their time with me.

Same! I've basically made up my mind already but I want to have all decisions before I send in a seat deposit.

Yep I'm down to 2 as well. Of course, I was just held at Columbia, which means I'll probably be waiting another month. Talk about late holds.

Yea....Penn would change my mind about where I am going.....so it's important! I think when you have a school in the top 10 it almost makes the tension go away...at least for me :D

You say that, until then you start wanting t-6, then t-3, etc...It never stops. Then you go to law school, and you want to be above the median, then top 1/3, then top 1/4, etc...Then you graduate, and you want any clerkship, then a state clerkship, then a federal clerkship, etc...Then you go for Big Law, and you want top 250, then V100, etc...Then you get hired as an associate, and then you want senior associate, then you want partner, then you want your name on the door, etc...

My future is killing me...
