Hey guys,

I applied to BU at the end of November and haven't heard anything since (besides the complete e-mail)--is this normal? My numbers are competitive for BU (168, 4.0) and I was hoping that I might be a candidate for some scholarship money. Am I out of luck?

Who knows what they're up to. This cycle has been weird for everyone. Honestly, holding people above medians for a long time is not unheard of. If you get in now, this late in the cycle, ask right away for $$. I think that's the best you can do. Great numbers by the way, I'm sure you'll have some enviable choices at the end of your cycle.

I have pretty much identical numbers to you and have not heard anything since submitting late november also. I looked on lsn and last year they waitlisted a few people with numbers like ours and a little higher probably yp I would think.

I'm 168/3.87 and have been complete since 12/14 without any word. You seem to have breezed through the process a lot faster than others.

And I just inquired about my application status yesterday, got an email today saying it was complete but not under review... Hopefully it's not a mistake.

When BU called my iphone late last month, the number came across as 'Unknown' so I didn't answer...! When they left a VM it showed up as the 617-353-2000 number, which is what I think shows up for everyone IIRC.

How long was it between the phone call and the acceptance email (assuming that's standard procedure)?
