Already got that one...this was a red cloth binder with all kinds of info. Had a seal over the box and everything.

Yeah, I would say AA is sort of "middle-of-nowhere"

No place with more than 20,000 people is "nowhere." Ann Arbor has hundreds of thousands.[/quote]

Visited both. Ithaca is much more charismatic, hence my choice.

Oh cool. Guess I won't know about that package until after January 12th.

Honestly don't remember the exact date but I was accepted on the first day EA acceptances went out.

I have no way of knowing if I received it yet since I haven't been at my mailing address for five days and won't be back for another 12.

This is what I'm wondering/feeling. I've been to AA and I can see that it would be okay there. I haven't even been to Ithaca yet, but from what I have learned it sounds like it would be more cozy and charming, without losing all sense of life.

*Edit: Sorry, quoting is off due to earlier errors. My workspace isn't private enough for me to go back and reconstruct the proper quoting.*

Is there a good thread where people that attend/attended Cornell provide input on the strengths and weaknesses of the school in terms of employment, education, location, work load, etc?

Still processing from 11/11. Haven't even gone LSAC complete. I mean, I know Cornell takes forever, but this is getting a bit ridiculous...

Same here (processing 11/15), and I thought I was EA, too. I'm starting to wonder if they aren't considering me EA, or if my application got lost.

When did you submit your app? Closing date for EA was 11/1 I think

I submitted 11/14 and went complete and got a status checker 11/15. I have been wondering if I was actually considered EA, because the application said something about "must be complete 11/16." But then, I found in another place that it had to be submitted 11/1, so I'm thinking I just misread and I'm being considered for regular decision.

Yeah you had to submit by 11/1. There wasn't a specification on the completion date because some people who made the EA submission deadline didn't go complete until much much later. I barely made the 11/1 deadline and went complete 12/2, for example. If you haven't gone complete by now, you're definitely being considered regular decision.

I totally believe you, being as I still haven't gone complete, that I did miss the EA deadline. However, I know I saw another date somewhere else. So, I just looked back on my application, and on Q8 it says "Are you applying for Early Action? (Check) Yes No (November 15, 2010. You must take the LSAT no later than October 2010.)"

I pretty sure this is what got me confused because I read on their website or somewhere else that the submission deadline was 11/1 (as you stated), yet I saw this on the application, so I made sure to submit by 11/15. Damn, guess I'm in for a longer wait than I thought.

Hmm that is odd and I can see how that would be confusing. I think I didn't even notice that since I got it in the night of 11/01. On the website though:
http://www.lawschool.cornell.edu/admiss ... _JUMP_3322
You'll see that the completion date was 11/15. A couple people were worried at the time that since their files weren't "complete" by the 15th that they wouldn't be considered EA, but the office said if you submitted by 11/01 we wouldn't bear the consequences of the admissions office completing them later than expected.

Best of luck, you're still in a better boat than those who got deferred EA and won't hear back until after you :)
