Do you find out from Cornell through email or snail mail?

Snail mail. But, like, they actually strap your decision letter to a snail and send it on its way.

(I believe Cornell sends emails)

Placed on the "Reserve List" via email. I applied in late October and went Under Review 1/4 (yes, a flippin long time, I know).

Can someone catch me up as to what that means? Better or worse than waitlist?

I'm taking the Feb LSAT, so hopefully it will help me if I score higher.

Just got it and that's what I understood it as. Numbers similar to above 3.7/166 - submitted early nov.

Got the reserve e-mail as well. This is ridiculous. Me and those who submitted even earlier wait THIS LONG to go complete, etc and then get a weird indefinite answer. Do not like this, Corny.
And if I get in later and decide to go elsewhere, I will tell them that this is why.

I wish they cared about something. Like making decisions on applications that have been sitting in limbo for months. I guess at least I know my app is in review. All I know about my app to Mich is that it's complete.

Looks like everyone on LSN is getting either a ding or WL today too... I'm actually extremely thankful for every minute that goes by and I don't have a new email.

All my stuff is finally checked today, but I'm still processing 1/12... I had better be complete by the end of the week...
btw, I had no idea that people go to NYC for OCI at Cornell. Is this true? Everyone has to go to Manhattan for OCI?

congrats to those who got in today!

No. OCI is on campus. However, job fairs are in NYC, Boston, DC, and LA

EDIT: However, I don't know the difference between the NYC job fair and the various OCI's as I am only a 1L. The taking ? thread has 2Ls that can answer this better.

Also processing since 11/30. Submitted at Thanksgiving. Maybe we'll hear back in a couple weeks?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
