LMAO at this. Read back a couple of pages and realize that most of us were processing for two months.

damn I submitted then too, but I went in review not too long ago. Don't worry, they are just trying to clear out the dings fast (me) to get to the better applicants (you). HTH

Eski is a she and did get into UChi. I think she might have already been accepted to Cornell though so post-acceptance withdrawal...

I hate cold weather, but NYC after graduation could be fun.

Cornell isnt in NYC:( just NY...and its even colder than NYC most of the time.

hence why he said AFTER graduation. Cornell places well in NYC

This!

I was accepted to Cornell in December (EA), but I got into Vandy today (am from Nashville so I would prefer Vandy to Cornell if I don't go to UChi) so I wanted to withdraw as soon as possible in case it helps y'all (which their admission letter insinuated it did.) Good luck!

A week ago a recommender of mine (added after the deferral) received a thank you note from the school. Any idea when we'll start to hear back or should we assume April?

There is no reason for me to even check the Cornell status checker. I officially have no status checkers of worth.

I'm starting to think that almost all status checkers are worthless.

My status checker bookmark list has been slowly dwindling, and now the only ones left are places where my application process is moving at a snails pace, so checking them is pretty much a waste of time.
