Wow, not much time left til EA decisions come out. Can't believe how fast this semester is whipping by.

Does your status checker say that you will receive a decision by mid-to late Dec? I think they will get it all out. But the problem I see is they may review apps faster toward the deadline as opposed to the early reviews. Here may be where applying early is beneficial for borderline applicants.

Is it supposed to? I called admissions a couple days after submitting to make sure I met the EA deadline and the woman on the other end assured me that I did, but I'm still sitting here without anything except an 11/16 update from processing to processing.

This is my status message:

Your application is currently in review with the committee. As your application moves through our review process, you may see your current status date change. You will receive a decision of admit, reserve, or deny by mid to late December.

ETA: this is the message right under the "Welcome to online store" heading.

I think this is just what the status says once you go under review. Mine does not mention a decision date either but the Admissions Office assured me that I made the EA deadline.

Mine says "Your application is currently being processed for completion. Please note that your status date may change as your application moves throughout the process."

Did yours mention "You will receive a decision of admit, reserve, or deny by mid to late December" before it went complete?

I don't remember, but perhaps anyone meeting the EA deadline will still all receive a decision before mid-late December. So you guys will probably all hear back before Christmas.

I was hoping applying in September will help me with earlier decisions but it hasn't worked as expected. I was hoping to receive most of my decisions before Christmas so I can visit a few cities during the break.

I am fairly sure mine did not say anything about the decision date until I went complete. I'm not under review yet, but complete as of 11/10 (submitted 10/13): "Your application is ready for review by our Admissions Committee, and because it was complete by our November 15th early action deadline, you will receive a decision of either admit, reserve, or deny by mid to late December."

I submitted several days earlier than you and am in the same boat. No use calling; they're just slow. I figure calling them about stuff will only make it take longer. :)

Yup me too. My complete date was 10/27. I'm wondering whether we'll actually receive a decision before the "mid to late December" mark...

Mine definitely did not say "you will receive a decision of admit, reserve, or deny by mid to late December" before it went complete. Also, going complete took about three weeks for me - I submitted around 10/26 and just went complete on 11/19.
