They're supposed to get snail mail, but there was some problem printing them or something, so they may not have even gone out this week. Kelly in admissions said she'd scan and email them when they were printed- no emails.

Kelly is super nice.

She said their printer broke. My guess is that by the time they fixed the printer it was too late to scan and email anything (they only work till 4 on fridays... silly Cornell).

I felt like I was up all night waiting for santa claus, knowing that I would get my financial aid award today... now this feels like a lump of coal! Haha. Well, here's to monday.

They need to PRINT the files, in order to SCAN THEM, and then EMAIL them to us.

They need to take an electronic file from a computer, use a mechanism by which that file is made corporeal, then use an entirely different and equally cumbersome mechanism to make the newly minted corporeal letter ephemeral, in order to send us the information contained therein via a means of communication that is used solely for documents of that specific ephemerality.

Probably a mail merge issue. they dont have individual files just one for each award amount then mail merge print to generate all the different ones.

That IS a plausible suggestion, but you could mail merge->"print" into pdfs.

Does that generate multiple files or one PDF with every letter?
