Weird. There's a lot more 169/3.5+ waitlists/rejections this year than last.

Just fyi to people who were admitted with a dean's scholly invite - they sent out the notifications on march 8th last year, and then people had until april 1 to decide. So we should be hearing in a couple weeks!

Cornell is taking so long that I don't even log in to their status checker everyday anymore. Hopefully I will get a decision in 2 months' time (applied early Jan), but will not count on it, perhaps.

Still stuck at processing 1/11. I'm not sure if this is bragging or whining as other's on this board have had it worse.

Re: Cornell 2011 applicants
Hey guys, I'm not too familiar with navigating through this site or LSN, but is there any consensus on when decisions are made for those who were deferred from the EA pool? I called the school and they said "by the end of April", but it seemed like a standard response they give to everyone...Does anyone know if this is true, or if they usually give a decision before then?

Sorry if this has been addressed- anyone know when those of us who applied hear back about the Dean's Scholarship?

Re: Cornell 2011 applicants
Yeah I posted that near the top of this page. Last year it was on March 8th, and they had to accept the offer by April 1st. So we should be hearing in a couple weeks.jtemp320 wrote:Sorry if this has been addressed- anyone know when those of us who applied hear back about the Dean's Scholarship?

Consider sending a LOCI if if your file has been complete for 2 months or more & you have some updated info. to include such as new grades.

Re: Cornell 2011 applicants
Anybody else get an in review date change today? My status changed to "Application in review" 2/21. It was previously "Application in review" 2/17, and before that, "Application in review" 2/1.
Note: I was complete 1/31 (after more than two months of processing).

1/28 Complete --> 2/1 IR --> 2/17 IR --> 2/21 IR
What are your stats? I'm 168/3.6

Still processing 1/7. Their checker says processing for completion takes 6-8 weeks, so this is my 7th...hopefully that's been everyone else's experience.
