Weird thing is people with similar CCN numbers to r6 have gotten acceptances.

YOU were deferred? Unless they're YPing, this means I'll be deferred at the very best.
Well I suppose I didn't really explain in anyway why I would attend? No connection to the school/area?

This is weird because I see multiple 170/3.8+ acceptances on lawschoolnumbers for this cycle.

Edit: Were you multiple LSAT taker by any chance?

No. TBF, I am a current grad student at a better school and they probably figured I will just stay here. I am also older with kids so maybe they are not convinced in anyway I would move to Ithaca.

This is just weird. I've heard from people that Cornell adcomms told people that writing/not writing a Why Cornell essay won't affect admissions.

And I just don't get why you would get deferred. People with comparable numbers have gotten acceptances and Cornell isn't famous for YPing. This is crazy.

I figure if something is wrong with my app they should just ding me. Also I sent the exact same package to UT and got acceptance + $$. I would have liked to have them as an option, oh well.

Maybe they secretly hate Asians. ORM, you need 175/4.1+ just to get in.

Minnesota flashed accepted to people on their status checker and just put them back in review. So yes.

Seeing people with better #s than me get deferred isn't boding well
