That's OK-- I got WL'ed last Friday, and now my status says "waitlist, pending final decision." That's a status update you don't want.

It's also too positive. They should just put "waitlist, soft rejection."

Mine still hasn't updated at all. Still at Pending Review/Decision 9/22...even after I sent and received confirmation they received my LOCI.

I went from "complete, pending review/decision" 1/11 to 1/27 to 1/31 sometime late last night.

I'm a ding or WL at best. Interesting though. At least UVA keeps you wondering with all the status updates.

I sent in an LOCI yesterday and requested an acknowledgement when it was added to my file. Anyone have experience with how long that generally takes?

In my experience, no longer than 48 hours.

In my experience, no longer than 48 hours.

Mine took about 4 days. I had to call them to reconfirm since they said it might have been lost in the large volume of emails they had been receiving.
