Re: UVa. Regular Decision
nope, no decision yet. Interesting suggestion; I'm wondering if I'll be able to finish it before my WL/Reject email arrives any minute now...albanach wrote:Do you have a decision yet? If not, why don't you write a why UVA and submit it too. Call/email the office and let them know you just read the interview and learned they would accept the essay and that you wish to emphasize your desire to attend.J.Straw from Wichita wrote: jesus horatio christ
Don't see how that could do you any harm.

Caught me a little off guard, to be honest. I was expecting them to continue holding my application for a while, but I also didn't write a Why UVA so that probably didn't help me at all.

Several of us discussed our pending/review dates literally at the top of this page.LawSchoolPorFavor wrote:anyone else been "pending review/decision" since 11/15?

Re: UVa. Regular Decision
Are those who are hearing from UVA (WL, Ding) seeing updates to their status checkers before receiving the e-mail?
Mine hasn't moved since I got it, hoping this is still a good sign although I'm probably a later submitter than those who have heard (10/26).

If so, that doesn't bode well for me. I've been complete/pending review since mid-November and my status checker just updated to 12/3.bdubs wrote:Are those who are hearing from UVA (WL, Ding) seeing updates to their status checkers before receiving the e-mail?

Every time I check my email now I'm scared I'll see a new message from Virginia.

Yeah, if you peruse the rest of this thread you'll see that OOS regular decision non-URM acceptances have been by far the exception.calilaw wrote:so unless you ED to UVA as an OOS you're SOL?T6Hopeful wrote:Answered your own question, haha. I've been "pending review/decision" since 9/16.
Since so many rejections and WLs have been coming out recently I'm not in any particular rush to get my decision. I feel like no news is good news on the UVA front...
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
