So should the LOCI be an attachment or should it be the text of the email?

I did both, and it didn't seem to bother them.

Anyone have any information about the waitlist? The information they supply makes it sound like they treat it like a normal waitlist, where you literally wait until June or so, but I was under the impression it was almost like a vetting pool to cull out serious applicants. Is it possible to get in sooner if you express interest?

Re: UVa. Regular Decision
I have a question....sorry if it has been asked here before.
So like many others, my applications has been Pending review/decision for months now. Would it be appropriate to send supplemental materials to show my continued interest in the school?

Is expressing interest really worth it? My GPA went up one one-hundredth of a point - should I update my transcript? I feel like LOCIs are rarely very convincing unless you have a truly spectacular devotion to a school.

I am tempted to email them and ask since it's been sitting for 3+ months.DCLaw11 wrote:I have a question....sorry if it has been asked here before.

Re: UVa. Regular Decision
Also would like to know the answer. Basically, I know a UVA alum (who I mentioned in my PS) who would be willing to send in a short letter for me. Problem being I already have 4 LORs submitted, and I think this might qualify as an LOR. I'm not sure they would like a 5th LOR .r6_philly wrote:I am tempted to email them and ask since it's been sitting for 3+ months.DCLaw11 wrote:I have a question....sorry if it has been asked here before.

Re: UVa. Regular Decision
you doing email or phone call? I really don't want to bother them because I'm sure they are swamped with applications, but it just seems weird that so many later OOS applicants have already had decisions rendered...r6_philly wrote:Thanks! I will.paulinaporizkova wrote:
