If we didn't hear about merit scholarship when we received our call, when might we hear something about it??

Got mine in the mail, not in the call. Your file will say "Scholarship Letter" if you're getting one (at this time).

Eh...mine still says "congratulations!"

It'll be under "Mailings."

How long after your acceptance did you get your scholarship?

Congrats! When did you submit/did you go under review? Still no movement since early Oct and getting nervous =/

Anyone have any information about the waitlist? The information they supply makes it sound like they treat it like a normal waitlist, where you literally wait until June or so, but I was under the impression it was almost like a vetting pool to cull out serious applicants. Is it possible to get in sooner if you express interest?

So like many others, my applications has been Pending review/decision for months now. Would it be appropriate to send supplemental materials to show my continued interest in the school?

Is expressing interest really worth it? My GPA went up one one-hundredth of a point - should I update my transcript? I feel like LOCIs are rarely very convincing unless you have a truly spectacular devotion to a school.

Also would like to know the answer. Basically, I know a UVA alum (who I mentioned in my PS) who would be willing to send in a short letter for me. Problem being I already have 4 LORs submitted, and I think this might qualify as an LOR. I'm not sure they would like a 5th LOR .

hm...actually i'd ask. if i didn't get in like the first week of january, i'd have asked. maybe your continued interest will work in your favor (how could it not?)

you doing email or phone call? I really don't want to bother them because I'm sure they are swamped with applications, but it just seems weird that so many later OOS applicants have already had decisions rendered...
