i don't know about berkeley stipend but you can get $20K/year at UVA
Regardless of what you think of him, you giving bad info is just as bad.

Did the people who got waitlisted have recent date updates to their status checker?

I don't think so. Pretty sure it just changed today.

Does the status checker ever say anything different than: "File Complete, Pending Review/Decision" ?

Or does it just stay there and the date alone changes?

It sticks, I think. If you get the call, it changes to "Congratulations!"

Once you get admitted/denied/waitlisted, then I'm pretty sure it would change. But until then, the date moves but the status doesn't.

I don't know if you are trolling or what, but the biggest scholarship I've seen is + $10k stipend.

Edited: silly me.

the battle between you two is funny. 20k a year stipend on top of full scholarship would be sick. I'm going to become friends with whichever law student gets that if I go to UVA. Also for me I think my Military JAG experience (and multiple awards and medals) really helped me out Director Faulk specifically sited that when describing why they accepted me (he was in the Army) and gave me the scholarship (also my undergrad GPA, and masters degree). Yes I'm a URM but I think that they don't throw 90,000 at everyone.

+1 I got the call but didn't pick up. it was stuck on "File Complete, Pending Review/Decision". Until I called and talked to Director Faulk 10 mins later it said congratulations.

haha, no he really isn't, although i guess none of us can know for sure. he has had an extremely good cycle, though, which makes him a bit of an outlier/look like a troll.

I totally thought that said "king of similes" at first, and that was way more fun to imagine.

Edit: Also just got WL'ed.

got an e-mail today from the dean telling me that I was missing a transcript and that they cant give offers without it and if I can please send in my transcript ASAP...I only took a few classes at this community college and also have a financial obligation there hence why i didnt include it. I responded telling him that I am taking care of it and attached a scanned version of the transcript in the meantime. The fact he emailed me and told me he cant make an offer without it, does that bode well for me if I get the transcript in ASAP??
