I mean, I guess I was exaggerating a little but I've checked all the boxes and am not really borderline for numbers so I guess I figured if they wanted me, they would have let me know by now. Not complaining though - all will be well!

I agree - Not even a full page is filled on LSN compared to other schools. And MVP are one of the more notorious for YPing and hand-selecting candidates who would most likely to attend. Perhaps, leverage your admissions to CCN in your LOCI or why UVA?

This is a spoiled comment, but I'd rather be in some people's shoes (who have CN acceptances, but not UVA yet) than in mine (ding from C and possibly WL from N)

Sorry about the dings and WLs. Weird that they're sending both out right now though and some of us Septembers and Octobers still haven't heard. What do you want from us UVA???

Yep, very odd. I'm getting scared to send in my Why UVA/LOCI - it seems like everyone in this thread who has tried that has gotten dinged/WLed really quickly afterward! Not sure what to do...

Yeah I'm just leaving my app alone. In the LOCI article they made a really good point that sometimes updates can move you back to the bottom of the pile. And like you said it hasn't necessarily been working out for anyone. Maybe since they're doing all this there will be another batch of acceptances soon...including early submitters!
